When starting to digitalise my page layouts I have found that the less type you have the harder it is to layout as I found it confusing on where to put everything, I referred back to my thumbnails that I made and looking at other magazine layouts.
Experimenting with columns
Here are a few page spreads that I have been experimenting with, I think that once you have enough content for each page the easier it is. I now realise how important the research was. I am happy with the way these three have turned out. I have varied the column on each page and some pages have none, as I feel that it doesn't need it, however I will still experiment with the columns.
