Edible Scrabble with Molly and Vanessa 

Baking the short bread 

Recipe 

Lemon short bread 
1 cup butter,
Softened1/2 cup 
Granulated sugar 1 tablespoon 
lemon zest x
1/2 cups all purpose flour



Beginning the baking
We made the mixture for the short bread, rolled it out and moulded it into squares for the scrabble tiles. We then placed them into the pre-heated oven.

                                             

Once baked and cooled we then mixed the icing, using just icing sugar and water. 


They took a while to dry, but once they did we added the black icing to the scrabble tiles. 




Our edible type entry 'edible scrabble'. I really enjoyed taking part in this breif and was interesting to see everyone else's entry's, and seeing how other people have interpreted the breif. 
The short bread and the overall appearance turned out a lot better than expected and tasted good, I think it was a simple yet effective.
