I noticed this menu in Pizza Express straight away because of the type, even though there isn't alot of it, it is of high impact, and the two fonts complement each other well. I use the second font in some of my own work. The Pizza Express logo is hand rendered type, the glyphs are what interest me the most about it and how curvy and natural it looks. In the logo it looks best as the curves reflect it well. The use of black and white works best, I don't think it would be that effective if it was in colour. The front of the resturants menu's is also interesting, the use of image and block colour complement each other.
